With the COVID-19 situation continuing to evolve, we wanted to update you on the steps we are taking around risk mitigation and maintaining business as usual to support our customers.
At Follow Me 4WD, our top priority is the health of our people, our customers and their families. In line with advice from medical authorities, we have introduced steps in the business to help minimise the risk of infection including additional daily cleaning, as well as providing employees with extra hygiene products, support and advice.
Seats, radios and vehicle cabs are being thoroughly cleaned with sanitiser between each activity and we have advised that anyone who has travelled overseas recently or been in contact with someone who has travelled recently should maintain 14 days isolation. If they have any symptoms of the virus they must not come to a training, and must seek the advice of a GP immediately. We are monitoring the situation closely and will continue to be guided by information and directives from the World Health Organisation, the Australian Department of Health and state health authorities.
Reliable Service
A pandemic is a time of uncertainty, but at Follow Me 4WD we are focused on delivering a reliable service to our customers. We are classed as an “Essential Service” so every measure within our control is being taken to ensure there is no impact on service levels or training delivery.
All 4WD and Tow-Ed training course groups are small- our course numbers are limited to six participants and one instructor. We can also do private courses where you are the only participant on the day. All our days are held at large open-air venues, making the advised 2m distance from other people easily achievable.
Participants spend much of the day by themselves in their own vehicle, in radio contact with the instructor and are required to bring their own lunch and refreshments.
As a small business we do need your support during these unsettling times and with many businesses quietening down, now is an excellent time to complete employee training in a safe and secure manner in anticipation of the situation improving in a few months’ time.
